More info on Oasis in Prestwich
Oasis are performing in Heaton Park on Thursday 4th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th 2009.
The event management team are distributing this leaflet to nearby residents this weekend, but no doubt the concerts will affect everyone in Prestwich.
Prestwich is going to be VERY BUSY on the days of the concert - so please be prepared! Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need any information or help.

Hi, We had headache the days of the concert. My son having his A level exams this week, he has trouble studying.
My sons final results is more important than filling Oasis pockets. I’m sure many have had their complains. It would be much better to leave Prestwich clear of headache.

I’m sorry t ohear about your problems. I don’t know exactly where you live, but I know that there were some problems with noise and other things to do with these concerts. Lessons need to be learned for sure, but I have had only three complaints myself (your’s is the third) and over 200,000 people had a good time at the concerts, so I think it’s about balancing the needs of local people with the benefits that these concerts bring to the area and the people who enjoy them.
